Rather than strictly concentrating on just spyware removal or maybe some quick diags, we combine all essential services listed below into an affordable, comprehensive package designed to give your system an extremely thorough workup. With this special shop service, you needn't worry over hourly charges nor nickel-and-dime schemes, as we safely clean and properly troubleshoot your computer. Furthermore, we'll run the most crucial time-consuming tools and utilities that onsite service must shy away fearing possible runaway costs. Only by permitting these processes to run as long as necessary will we attain the most promising results. Another benefit of this extended activity is that we'll be better able to spot those intermittent issues that drive computer users crazy. Here in our shop, we can remove suspect parts and swap with known good ones, giving us a good chance to isolate issues and eliminate them.

Safety Backup ●

Though we insist you backup your own data prior to service (We claim no responsibility for data loss). Our customers find it comforting that we provide additional protection against system crash and can easily set your system back to it's original state.

[Use this rare opportunity to have a restore disk set created and tested for your computer. This set enables you to easily return your computer to the state it was in when the set was created. A major grief saver when your hard drive fails.]

Hardware Diagnostics ●

Capeway uses UXG Professional diags, widely regarded as the most accurate, with which we'll stress and test your system's components to flag any potential fault. This alone isn't cause for action but works hand-in-hand with our observations made during this extended service.

Hard Drive Diags ●

The most vital and most fragile part of your computer receives special attention. We utilize diags from the disk's manufacturer to test both mechanics and surface area. Unlike system diags, pending failures here are cause for great concern and we'll notify you before proceeding further.

Expert Troubleshooting ●

We're constantly monitoring your computer's behavior and performance as we put it through it paces. These lengthy tasks create the perfect environment to exploit and resolve intermittent issues. These type of issues are nearly impossible to correct during an onsite visit.

Deep Virus Scan ●

Spyware may ruin performance but it's viruses and trojans that could ruin you. Though some viruses will be caught during spyware scanning, we do not count this as virus removal as some shops do. A Capeway virus scan is only performed with completely updated and dedicated anti-virus software. This is done by removing your drive and scanning it on one of our service computers at the slowest and most thorough settings. Needless to say, a deep virus scan often reveals some pretty scary stuff.

Spyware Scanning ●

The extra effort here makes a big difference. Starting with manual hunt seek techniques, we methodically wrestle control away from the garbage attached to your system. We then use special software to look for hidden malicious processes running in the background. Next we'll do lots of scanning with several tools, multiple times in both normal and safe modes until we find no more. Lastly, we verify those hidden processes are completely gone and are not replicating upon boot-up.

obsolete programs ●

Like most people, you probably have a handful of programs that you just don't want on your computer anymore. Bring a list because this is your chance to get rid of them. We'll happily remove all those lousy free trial programs that inexplicably came with the computer. From the massive AOL suites, expired Norton programs that are notoriously difficult to uninstall, etc. Sometimes removing this stuff has as much a positive affect as spyware. Just name it and we'll make it history.

Dust Removal ●

Computers placed near the floor are especially prone to excessive dust buildup which can be very bad for computers. Dust not only traps moisture that wreaks havoc with sensitive electronics, it greatly interferes with your computer's ability to cool itself. Dust-clogged fans and heatsinks will allow the processor to overheat forcing the system to slow or shut down to protect itself. Many shops charge twenty dollars for dust removal alone. At Capeway, we feel so strongly in the necessity of this service we've included it in all our Solution Savers.

Windows Updates ●

A simple but important task, we'll install all necessary Windows updates and hotfixes.

Optimization ●

What is "optimization?" Mostly it's just an impressive sounding buzzword that looks good in brochures. At Capeway however, we've included so much in this package there's just no reason for deceptive bs. We conclude TrueResolve with one last chkdsk run (to check against hard drive corruption) and a final disk defrag to improve disk efficiency.

With 7 to 10 hrs of combined manual and automated tasks, TrueResolve cannot be provided onsite. However, we will happily discount either TrueResolve or TrueRestore as an add-on option or follow-up to any onsite service visit we provide.


	Should our diagnostics detect a fault that could jeopardize a successful install we will contact you and provide the following options:
	Cancel service at no charge. Estimate cost to replace part. Move your data to safe permanent storage (CD/DVD).
